Who We Are
TheLunas CollectiveStory
Founded in March 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lunas Collective is a care space dedicated to supporting women and individuals of diverse sexualities who often face challenges defining their safety, seeking justice, and taking action.
Startling statistics* reveal that one in five individuals experiences physical or sexual violence, and one in four endures intimate partner violence. The pandemic exacerbated these issues, trapping some with abusers and isolating them from safety, support, and accurate information about sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
Our community comprises young advocates, students, and professionals from various sectors.
Lunas Collective is not just an organization; we are a community of care and empowerment.
Our Values
Our three core values guide our commitment to support, inform, and empower.
Open and Compassionate Service
We approach our work with a welcoming and empathetic attitude, ensuring that everyone feels heard and supported. We prioritize inclusivity and understanding, creating a safe space where individuals from diverse backgrounds can seek assistance and guidance without judgment.
Quality and Credible Information
In all endeavors, we strive to deliver accurate and reliable knowledge, resources, and guidance. We understand the importance of well-informed decisions and seek to empower our community with information they can trust and rely on.
Survivor-Centered Feminist Care
We believe in the equitable treatment of all genders and are dedicated to challenging and dismantling gender based discrimination and stereotypes. Our approach to care and service is rooted in feminist principles that prioritize justice, equality, and the empowerment of individuals of all genders and sexualities.
Our Mission
To operate an online chat helpline and care space for all people with concerns related to gender based violence and sexual and reproductive health and rights; to inspire solidarity through feminist inclusive volunteer work and strategic partnerships.
Our Vision
To build a world where absolutely every body is free to live and love as they please; where anyone who experiences discrimination, exclusion, and violence can seek help without shame or fear and receive the support and care that they need.
Our Core Team
Meet the backbone of Lunas Collective – our core team. They oversee every aspect of our organization’s operations, ensuring that we provide comprehensive support and care to those who need it.

Our Community of Care
The Lunas Collective community of care is a dynamic group of young advocates, students, and professionals from diverse fields including policy reform, mental and reproductive health, gender and development, and social work.
Together, we respond to care needs and celebrate life’s joys through collective action.
Awards and Recognitions
